Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Architecting and developing complete e-commerce websites with secure payment gateway integration and product management systems
• Building dynamic websites with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development
• Developing responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implementing and managing database structures to support website functionality and data storage
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
• Collaborating with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to implement best practices

Requirements:
• At least 5 years professional working experience in a similar capacity
• Solid understanding of core front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application in building interactive user interfaces
• Demonstrable experience working with at least one popular CMS platform (ideally WordPress) for content management and website development
• Generic understanding of back-end development principles and exposure to a server-side language such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar
• Familiarity with database concepts and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in building and integrating APIs for data exchange and third-party services
• Understanding of responsive design principles and experience in creating websites that adapt to various screen sizes
• A portfolio or examples of successfully launched e-commerce or dynamic websites you have developed
• Familiarity with Sitecore (advantageous)
