Job Description
Urgent requirement for a Infrastructure as a code developer for a major IT vendor to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible, this is a 12 month contract with extensions possible.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, and other relevant toolchains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools.
• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs using full stack Python and front-end TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Ensure the security and reliability of infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and applications.
• Document code, design, and deployment procedures for reference and training purposes.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and techniques to improve infrastructure and application development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure as code development.
• Strong understanding of toolchains like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with object-oriented frameworks like full stack Python and front-end TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
