Job summary

The manufacturing engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for products manufactured through QuickShip to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and compliance with engineering and industry standards. This position will support machining, assembly, testing, and inspection operations while driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safe manufacturing practices. The manufacturing engineer will work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing issues.

This position will also support the operations manager in the planning and execution of CAPEX projects in QuickShip and MEAPAC and will assist in the digital transformation journey.

In this role your responsibilities will be:

• Review the manufacturing capability regularly and support the new product manufacturing.

• Review and provide engineering solutions for the concerns raised during the assembly, testing, and machining activities.

• Preparation of standard operating procedures for safety, manufacturing, and operations, and provide the necessary training for the team.

• Review and be the focal point for the analysis of the tooling requirements and be responsible for the design of tooling and fixtures to support the manufacturing activities in QuickShip.

• Responsible for the creation of routing and BOM for the MAKE items in QuickShip and MEAPAC.

• Be the focal point and support the breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipment in QuickShip and MEAPAC.

• Provide support in execution of CAPEX projects for both QuickShip and MEAPAC.

• Assist in the factory automation and intelligent automation journey in QuickShip and MEAPAC.

• Support the 5S and lean manufacturing activities.

• Adhere to health, safety, and environment policies as laid by the organization.

Who you are:

• Control valve engineering and manufacturing knowledge.

• Knowledge in manufacturing practices like assembly, machining, fabrication, and testing.

• Experience in designing tools and fixtures.

For this role you will need:

• Engineering degree in mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical.

• 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

• Experience in handling CAPEX and automation projects.

• Experience in lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and TPM.
