Experience Level:
• WordPress Admin: 5+ years of experience managing WordPress sites, Cloud certified.
• WordPress Specialist/Developer: 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, including at least 2 years as a WordPress Developer or Specialist.
We are a UAE-based company in Dubai, seeking a WordPress Admin and a WordPress Specialist/Developer to join our team.
In this role, we have two vacancies available: WordPress Admin and WordPress Specialist/Developer. The WordPress Admin will manage, update, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring smooth operation and site performance. The WordPress Specialist/Developer will specialize in the development, customization, and implementation of WordPress sites, working on both front-end and back-end aspects.
Job Description:
• Develop, customize, and implement WordPress websites, both front-end and back-end.
• Design and implement custom themes and plugins based on client needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress development, including performance issues and bugs.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and security.
• Develop and implement SEO best practices for WordPress websites.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement responsive and visually appealing websites.
• Work with databases and perform database management for WordPress sites.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services into WordPress sites.
• Manage and optimize site hosting, including server-side performance.
• Provide ongoing technical support and updates for WordPress sites.
• Oversee the creation and management of a large portfolio of websites across multiple countries, languages, business industries, and e-commerce platforms, catering to the company, dealers, and distributors.
Work Environment:
• Collaborate in both remote and onsite settings, ensuring seamless coordination with all stakeholders.
• Use leading remote platforms and communication tools to maintain efficiency.
Location Preference: Candidates from Nasr City or nearby areas who can easily commute are preferred.
Job Requirements
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 5+ Years Proven working experience in WordPress development, including at least 2 years as a Senior WordPress Developer or Specialist.
• Expertise in customizing plugins for WooCommerce based function. (Must have)
• Solid experience as a WordPress/WooCommerce backend developer can handle from day one.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience with MySQL database management and server-side performance.
• Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce (eCommerce) security best practices and regular updates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest WordPress features, tools, and technologies.
• Live portfolio showcasing previous web development projects (is a must).
